Solaris Synergy is a developer of a breakthrough, patent-protected solar-on-water power generation system. The Company maintains a core multi-disciplinary team of managerial and engineering professionals with vast expertise in physics, heat transfer, mechanics, optics and electricity. Founded in 2008, Solaris Synergy was awarded an R&D grant from Israel's National Infrastructures Ministry, and is backed by US private equity funds.

Solaris Synergy's flagship product is a floating concentrating photovoltaic (F-CPV) system. A viable renewable energy alternative to land-based solar energy systems, the system features a modular design that supports power output ranging from several kilowatts to dozens of megawatts.

TransBiodiesel, a start-up company, develops biocatalyst substitutes to chemical catalysts, presently used for production of biodiesel fuels. Biodiesel fuels are of growing importance as partial substitutes for petroleum based fuels.

Unlike chemical catalysts biocatalysts are environmentally benign and lower the total production costs of biodiesel fuels.

The company's activities are based on the expertise and experience of its founder, Dr. Sobhi Basheer, a well known specialist in enzymes and associated industrial applications.

TransBiodiesel is located in the Galilee Society compound in Shfar-Am, in the north-west region of Israel.
